Since I was late on my last Illustration Friday, I thought I'd post it with this weeks. The shadowbox was "Hollow" before I added these pieces of paper. Also I chose an old portrait I did of Carlos Gardel for a friend over a year ago for "Tango"."Tango soon began to gain popularity in Europe, beginning in France. Superstar Carlos Gardel soon became a sex symbol who brought the tango to new audiences, especially in the United States, due to his sensual depictions of the dance on film." (according to Wikipedia)

WOW, brilliant piece. Is it a 3D illustration in a box? With light shined on it then photographed?
Yes, lol. although I don't think I photographed it that well. I made all the pieces and then used those foam squares and such to layer them in the box. :)
